Rough Jazz and Smooth Company
These peeps met on the scene and gravitated towards a mutual respect for good tone, questionable taste, and off-kilter temperament. If the rough -n- ready blues or the elegant jazz sonorities don’t catch your ear, the dad jokes will.
Ayn Kaethchen, Vocalist
Having gone through the threshing floor of life, Ayn developed a quick sense of humor and considers herself a creative. When not intoning yearning ear candy, she offers up her hardworking digits to local arts organizations. Former local bands include jazz groups The Next One Up Quintet and the E&G Duo, and local original bands Bipolar Ignition, Knock, and Ledge.
Michael Kotur, Guitar and Music Direction
Michael went on the road with a show band two years after completing high school and has been a professional musician ever since. A proud graduate of Central State’s illustrious Jazz department, he has played with some of the midwest’s finest jazz and blues musicians. He currently teaches at Cincinnati Music Academy and plays gigs around the region.
Jason Swann, Saxophones
Jason is a Dayton-area musician with 16 years of professional music performance experience. He played in The Cincy Brass, plays in The Last Waltz, The Dayton Salsa Project (recently named the best band in Dayton by the Dayton Daily Newpaper), the Elevation Trio, and Satchmo the Musical.

Todd Bridges, Drums
Todd has been performing in the Columbus/Dayton area for over 25 years. He holds music degrees from The Ohio State University and Wright State University. Todd is the Assistant Band Director at Sidney City Schools.
